Menopausal Transition
The physical, emotional, and relational changes of peri-menopause and menopause.

Barbara is an accomplished psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of reproductive mental health. With extensive clinical experience working with diverse and complex cases in public health, she identified a significant gap in services for those dealing with challenges such as family planning, infertility, miscarriage, postpartum struggles, birth-related trauma, parenting adjustments, and the menopausal transition.
Inspired by the need for specialized, accessible care, she devoted her practice to serving this often-overlooked clientele with empathy, expertise, and flexibility.
You worked with me in a way that fit what I needed and coached me through the next steps. Now, I am honestly a completely changed person in many ways, but the same old me in the right ones. You have made a remarkable difference in my life. Thanks again, Barbara - you definitely change lives.

As a mother, it’s easy to make excuses not to prioritize your own needs. You helped me realize that caretaking my own needs is not selfish - rather, it’s a gift to my whole family. Changing that mindset made all the difference.

Thank you for creating a safe place where I could process all of the mixed emotions that I had. After trying so long to have a baby, I felt guilty for feeling so overwhelmed. So many things were harder than I expected. You supported me when I needed it the very most.
